Easy Tai Chi
Easy Tai Chi was
developed by Dr.
Keith Jeffery and
combines the best of
the east and west.
Easy Tai Chi is a
two part system that
encompasses tai chi
and qi gong.
Traditional tai chi
is very beneficial
for our respiratory
system as well as
the muscular system
in our body. The
only problem is that
one has to be really
dedicated and
willing to learn the
many movements that
are taught. Lets
face it, tai chi is
only good for you if
you practice it and
many usually become
disinterested and
discontinue their
practice. Dr.
Jeffery has come up
with a simplified
system that is much
easier to learn and
still offers the
benefits of
traditional tai chi;
in some comparisons
the easy tai chi
offers instruction
that is not offered
by some traditional
instructors, such as
proper breathing. I
became involved with
easy tai chi over a
year ago and
previously practiced
traditional tai chi,
yang style, for 8
years. I myself find
that the easy tai
chi which is also
referred to as tai
chi for busy people
has been just as
beneficial. Tai Chi
for Busy People
really describes it
all. Most of us are
too busy to dedicate
long hours of
practice, but with
tai chi for busy
people one can
practice 4 minutes a
day and experience
great results.
The second part of
Easy Tai Chi is 4
Minuet Fitness. Four
Minute Fitness
consists of five
exercises, which are
qi gong principles
PLUS secrets from
yoga, tai chi,
modern science and
motivation
techniques. It also
includes principles
from Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy
to change thoughts
from negative to
positive.
. The qi gong
exercise are a very
good place to start.
I personally started
with the 4 Minute
Fitness exercises
and then
incorporated the tai
chi for busy people.
4 Minute Fitness is
more than just
exercise for your
body it is great for
the mind as well. 4
Minute Fitness can
also be practiced by
people that are
physically
challenged with a
few modifications.
As I mentioned
earlier, I have
practiced martial
arts since 1960 and
tai chi has
definitely made an
impact on my
practice and chi
level. Many of you
may have questions
as to what I have
been talking about,
